This website includes a variety of curriculum-linked resources designed to provide educators with effective strategies to support financial literacy education across the province from Grade 4 to Grade 12. The resources found on this site support the implementation of an integrated approach to financial literacy education within existing curriculum. The resources will also support ongoing individual and collaborative learning for teachers, learning facilitators, and board administrators. As new material is developed it will be posted on this site on an ongoing basis.

Financial Literacy Pulse of the Province

By regularly checking the Financial Literacy Pulse of the Province feature, educators can find newly released curriculum-linked resources, and information and links to support financial literacy education.

Teaching and Learning Examples now posted

  • Teaching and Learning Examples are now available for elementary and secondary teachers to help plan lessons related to financial literacy education. Included are examples of cross-curricular and subject-specific approaches for teachers to use and adapt as appropriate for the students in their classroom. The teaching and learning examples reflect a number of elementary and secondary grades, subjects, courses and pathways.
