Through the lens of Dr. Alex Lawson, classroom teacher Margaret Allen and her students, viewers can consider various aspects of student learning of mathematics along with clips from Doug Clements and Lucy West. Additional K-12 Mathematics Resources
The LNS Math Resources site has posted the following materials: one new Capacity Building K-12 monograph, Pedagogical Documentation: Leading Learning in the Early Years and Beyond; and one new Mathematics Foundational Principles support document, Paying Attention to Proportional Reasoning K-12: Support Document for Paying Attention to Mathematical Education.

"Paying Attention to Mathematics Education K-12" Mathematics Resource Inventory is now available. Find Ontario Ministry of Education documents to support teaching and learning mathematics. Included in this compilation are hyperlinked policy documents, support documents, professional learning resources, classroom resources and parent resources.

The LNS Math Resources site has posted the following materials: one new What Works monograph, Trigonometry in Grade 3?; two new Capacity Building monographs, Supporting Numeracy: Building a Community of Practice, K-12, with a supporting document, Annotated Bibliography: Numeracy – Building a Community of Practice K-12, and The Third Teacher; as well as two new webcasts, Leadership in Mathematics and clips of Snapshots of Effective Practice - Doug Clements: Early Mathematics.

The LNS Math Resources site has posted the following materials: two new webcasts, including Understanding Geometric Figures through Drawing and Paper Folding and clips of Leaders in Educational Thought: Lucy West; a new What Works monograph called Technology in the Mathematics Classroom: Harnessing the Power of Interactive White Boards; and an update to the parent guide with the document Doing Mathematics with Your Child (K-6) and an update to the parent guide with the document "Doing Mathematics with Your Child, K-6".

- The LNS Math Resources site has posted the accompanying material (insert) for the Capacity Building Monograph,Bansho (Board Writing), created in February 2011 and the webcast, High-yield Strategies for Improving Mathematics Instruction and Student Learning, created in February 2008. These are new to the site, but not newly created resources.
